Aesthetic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery serves for the elimination of functional and deformities of congenital or acquired anomalies. The process of deciding on the ideal nose of the patient is taken by a joint decision after the patient's examination in the first place, depending on the condition of the nose.
Rhinoplasty operations are performed in two different methods, open and closed, depending on the bones and cartilages inside and outside the patient's nose. In general, the pain is more in the first two days in nose surgeries, and it decreases over time. The pain also varies according to the pain threshold of the patients.
Swelling and bruises are among the physical effects of nose surgery. Likewise, the physical results that occur on the patient's face are directly proportional to the size of the operation applied to the nose. After the nose surgery, the fit of the nose varies between 6 months and 1 year. During this period, the patient can continue his/her daily activities. Only on the first day, the patient needs a companion in his daily work to recover from the first night of his hospitalization due to anesthesia. Other days, the patient can perform his/her daily activities. After the nose surgery, plaster and tapes are placed outside the nose and there are tampons inside. These tampons, tapes and plaster remain just for 1 week after surgery.
Two weeks after the nose surgery, the patient can return to her normal state in terms of physical appearance.
