We went to Trust Dental based on the good reviews we read, so I wanted to share our experience, which I have already shared with Trust.
When I made the appointment, I told them that my husband needed 2 crowns and I had a sensitive tooth. We had a very superficial cleaning done and X-rays taken. Afterwards we met with the dentist to discuss our treatment plan. The estimated cost for my husband was US$ 5950, my cost would have been US$ 8752!
When the person from Trust called me the next day to ask how our appointment went, I told him we were shocked by that bill and left without any treatments.
I did not understand why, according to them, our teeth needed such extensive work? Because we were not actually having any serious issues, and simply needed 2 crowns for my husband!
He said that they felt it was important to be “safe rather than sorry”…..BUT just the year before, in September 2022, we went to a dentist as we were planning a big trip. We asked that dentist to thoroughly check our teeth for potential problems because we’d rather be “safe than sorry” while traveling. That dentist did not find any problems besides a root canal for my husband, which she took care of.
So how did we develop such expensive problems in just 1 year’s time?
