Fertimed

Established by fertility specialist Doc MD Ales Sobek PHD, Fertimed is a private infertility centre in the Czech Republic. Now with modern clinics in Olomouc and Ostrava, Fertimed was responsible for both the country s first ICSI baby and its first baby to be born following frozen embyo transfer. Fertimed offers an extensive range of diagnostic tests for both men and women. A full range of assisted reproduction treatments is available, including ovulation induction, IUI, IVF, ICSI, PISCI, blastocyst cultivation, embryo monitoring, TESE/MESA, assisted hatching, cytoplasmic transfer and cryopreservation. Fertimed is fully compliant with European Directives and has ISO 9001, 15189 and 14001 certification. In accordance with Czech law, it provides all assisted reproduction techniques, with the exception of surrogacy. Egg and sperm donation in the country is strictly anonymous and all donors are white European; rules stipulate that the donor and recipient should be the same ethnic group. Fertimed are highly experienced in welcoming international patients to their clinic and provide a number of complimentary services to make the experience as straight forward and stress free as possible. In line with the rest of the Czech Republic, their prices are much lower than those found in most other European countries.
