Step 1: Remote Assessment & HLA Typing

Step 2: Admission & Pre-Transplant Conditioning

Upon arrival and admission to the sterile ward in China, you will undergo "conditioning." This involves high doses of chemotherapy and possibly full-body radiation to destroy your diseased bone marrow and make room for the new stem cells.

Step 3: Transplant Day (Day Zero)
