È specializzato nella chirurgia della caviglia e del piede: ricostruzioni artroscopiche e "aperte" dei legamenti, artroplastica della caviglia, ricostruzioni dell'avampiede (alluce valgo, deformità delle dita) e del piede piatto (piedi piatti) in adulti e adolescenti.
Esegue anche interventi chirurgici completi alle articolazioni del ginocchio e della spalla: artroscopia e artroplastica.
Ha completato tirocini presso l'Assaf Harofeh Medical Center (Tzriffin, Israele), il San Antonio Orthopaedic Surgery Center (San Antonio, Stati Uniti), il West Kendall Orthopaedic Center (Miami, Stati Uniti), l'Ospedale Sabadell (Barcellona, Spagna) e il Landeskrankenhaus Steyr (Austria). Per alcuni anni ha vissuto e lavorato in Spagna.
