Hij is gespecialiseerd in enkel- en voetchirurgie: artroscopische en "open" reconstructies van ligamenten, enkelartroplastiek, reconstructies van de voorvoet (hallux valgus, teenafwijkingen) en achtervoeten (platvoeten) bij volwassenen en adolescenten.
Hij voert ook volledige knie- en schoudergewrichtsoperaties uit: arthroscopie en arthoplastie.
Hij voltooide stages in het Assaf Harofeh Medisch Centrum (Tzriffin, Israël), het San Antonio Orthopaedic Surgery Center (San Antonio, VS), het West Kendall Orthopaedic Center (Miami, VS), het Sabadell Ziekenhuis (Barcelona, Spanje) en het Landeskrankenhaus Steyr (Oostenrijk). Hij woonde en werkte enkele jaren in Spanje.
