Born in 1983 in Istanbul, Op. Dr. Yunus Uysal completed his high school education at Istanbul Gaziosmanpaşa Anatolian High School. Having started his undergraduate education at Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine in 2001 and graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine in 2007, Op. Dr. Yunus Uysal successfully completed his specialty training at Trakya University Faculty of Medicine between 2008-2013.
During his residency training, he participated in the trauma surgery training organized by the "Arbeitsgemeinschaft für Osteosynthese Probleme" (AO) working group and actively participated in studies related to his specialty.
Dr. Yunus Uysal worked as an Orthopedics and Traumatology Specialist at Şırnak State Hospital between 2013-2015. During this period, he successfully completed the "Pediatric Hip Ultrasonography" course organized by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Turkey which focused especially on trauma surgery, sports orthopedics, and arthroscopic surgery.
Dr. Yunus Uysal started to work at Bursa Private Turan&Turan Bone, Muscle and Joint Health Center in 2015 and continues his work here and at Bursa Private Arithmi Osmangazi Hospital.
Specializing in spine surgery and prosthetic prosthesis surgery, Op. Yunus Uysal performs robotic surgery applications in the knee and hip prostheses for the first time in Turkey, in Bursa, in agreement with SGK.

My aunt had a knee replacement surgery on both her knees and we've seen an incredible progress eventhough it's only been 2 weeks. Doctor is amazing, hospitality is another level, nurses and all procedures are highly professional. As someone who has been to many big hospitals in Turkey, I must say this one is by far the best cause they're health-oriented as opposed to money oriented. Definitely recommend it to anyone especially for orthopedic surgery and physiotherapy.

I recently had a total knee replacement at Turan & Turan medical Centre in Bursa, Turkey. From my first contact with them my treatment has been completely professional. Doga Gok, the person dealing with my initial query was very efficient, nothing was too much trouble for her, she even helped with organising transport and booking flights and was there to meet me personally when I arrived at the hospital. She is an excellent ambassador for Turan & Turan.
The Hospital is clean and modern, with plenty of staff to attend to patients needs. Pre surgery tests and x-rays were carried out and my replacement knee operation took place the day after I arrived. I stayed in the hospital for seven nights followed by seven nights in the Holiday Inn hotel next door to the hospital, close enough to make any additional tests easy. The surgeon checked on me frequently to make sure that there were no problems following the procedure.
I’ll end by saying thank you too Doga, my surgeon and the other hospital staff for the care and attention I’ve received and I have no hesitation in recommending the Turan & Turan medical centre.
