Dr. Salih PAY - Rheumatologist
Salih Pay is a specialist in the field of rheumatology, and a Professor of Medicine. He graduated from GATA Gülhane Military Medical Faculty in 1987 and completed his postgraduate internship at GATA between 1987-1988. He worked as a general practitioner at Tekirdağ 8th Division Command between 1988-1990. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency at GATA in 1995 and then pursued a Rheumatology Fellowship at Hacettepe University between 1996-1998. He became an Assistant Professor in the field of Rheumatology at GATA in 1999-2000 and was promoted to an Associate Professor in 2000. In 2001-2002, he conducted experimental studies on chemokines and chemokine receptors at the University of California-San Diego - Stein Research Center. He became a full professor in 2008. He has published nearly 100 scientific articles throughout his academic career. Currently, he serves patients at Koru Ankara Hospital and his medical interests include:
