I saw Dr Alejandra Rodarte based on the recommendation of friends of mine. I am very happy I got that recommendation. Dr. Rodarte was very skilled, efficient, spoke excellent English, and did a great job on cleaning my teeth a thorough, expert job for only $25! The other clinicians and staff impressed me as equally friendly, courteous and professional. It may be a little confusing to North Americans that the practice has the same name as the restaurant beside it in the same arcade off the street. Thats because both are owned by the same local family. In fact, I am writing this review over breakfast at the Rancherita Restaurant next door after my cleaning. Last, this review is from a real, first-time patient who is a citizen of the U.S.

Dental Work in Mexico Q&A
Why is dental work cheaper in Mexico? Who are the best dentists in Mexico and how to choose the right for you?
Read our answers to these and other questions to find more.
Why is Dental work Cheaper in Mexico
There are several reasons why dental work may be cheaper in Mexico: Lower labor costs: The cost of living in Mexico is generally lower than in many other countries, so the salaries of dental professionals may also be lower. This can result in lower prices for dental services. Lower overhead costs: Dental offices in Mexico may have lower overhead costs due to lower rent and utilities costs. Lower cost of materials: The cost of dental materials, such as fillings and crowns, may be lower in Mexico due to lower taxes and cheaper manufacturing costs. Competition: There may be more competition among dental providers in Mexico, which can drive prices down. Different insurance systems: The healthcare systems in Mexico and the United States are quite different, which can affect the cost of dental procedures. In the United States, dental insurance is often separate from medical insurance, and it may not cover as many procedures as medical insurance does. In Mexico, the government may provide more coverage for dental procedures, which can make them more affordable for patients. It's important to note that the quality of dental care in Mexico can vary. It's always a good idea to do your research and choose a reputable provider if you are considering getting dental work done in Mexico. 1. Lower labor Costs Yes, lower labor costs are one reason why dental work may be cheaper in Mexico. In general, the cost of labor is lower in Mexico than in the United States, which means that dentists and other healthcare professionals may be paid less. This can translate to lower prices for dental procedures. It's worth noting that the cost of dental work in Mexico can vary depending on the location, the type of procedure being performed, and other factors. It's always a good idea to do your research and shop around before deciding to have dental work done in any country. 2. Lower Overhead Costs Lower overhead costs can also contribute to lower prices for dental procedures in Mexico. Overhead costs are the expenses that a business incurs in order to operate, such as rent, utilities, and supplies. If a dentist in Mexico has lower overhead costs than a dentist in the United States, they may be able to offer lower prices for their services. However, it's worth noting that the cost of dental work in Mexico can vary depending on the location, the type of procedure being performed, and other factors. It's always a good idea to do your research and shop around before deciding to have dental work done in any country. 3. Competition Competition among dentists in Mexico can also contribute to lower prices for dental procedures. When there are many dentists competing for patients, they may offer lower prices or special deals in order to attract business. This can drive prices down, which can be beneficial for patients looking for affordable dental care. However, it's important to keep in mind that the cheapest option may not always be the best option, and it's important to consider factors such as the dentist's qualifications, experience, and reputation before making a decision. 4. Lower cost of materials It's possible that the cost of materials used in dental procedures may be lower in Mexico than in the United States. Dental materials, such as fillings, crowns, and dentures, can be expensive, and the cost of these materials may vary from one country to another. If the cost of dental materials is lower in Mexico, it could contribute to lower prices for dental procedures. However, it's worth noting that the cost of dental work in Mexico can vary depending on the location, the type of procedure being performed, and other factors. It's always a good idea to do your research and shop around before deciding to have dental work done in any country. 5. Different Insurance Systems The healthcare systems in Mexico and the United States are quite different, which can affect the cost of dental procedures.
