A member of our patient relations team will be waiting for you at arrivals, holding a sign with your name, ready to greet you personally. From there, you are escorted to one of our VIP Mercedes vehicles — spacious, immaculate, and reserved exclusively for IdealofMed patients. Inside, every detail has been anticipated in advance: chilled water, light refreshments, and personal hygiene amenities, so that even your transfer feels like an extension of the care you are about to receive — not a logistical afterthought.

Your hotel has already been booked and confirmed before your arrival. There is nothing left for you to arrange. You are driven directly to check-in, where your room is prepared and waiting. The rest of the day is yours — to rest, to recover from your flight, and to arrive at the clinic the next morning calm, rested, and fully present for what comes next.

II. THE DIAGNOSTIC FOUNDATION — DAY 2: ENGINEERING YOUR NEW SMILE

Your second day begins unhurried, with breakfast at your hotel. There is no early rush — every part of your schedule is designed around your comfort, not the clinic’s convenience.

Once you arrive, your full diagnostic workup begins — and this is, without exaggeration, the single most decisive phase of your entire treatment. Every surgical decision that follows is built on what is discovered and planned today.

Three-Dimensional Tomography (3D CBCT Imaging). This is not a standard two-dimensional dental X-ray. Our system captures a full three-dimensional volumetric scan of your jaw, generating a complete digital model of your bone in every plane — height, width, density, and internal structure — together with the precise location of nerve canals, sinus floors, and other critical anatomy that a flat 2D image simply cannot reveal.

Intraoral Bone Architecture Analysis. Beyond the scan itself, our system performs a detailed, layer-by-layer analysis of your intraoral bone structure — examining bone quality and quantity in relation to your individual anatomy and age-related bone characteristics. Bone density and resilience naturally vary from patient to patient, and this analysis ensures your treatment plan is built around your bone, not a generic template.

Digital Implant Placement & Stability Simulation. Within the same 3D tomographic system, our surgical team digitally simulates the exact placement of each implant before any incision is made — testing position, angle, and depth against your real bone anatomy to determine precisely where each implant will achieve the strongest, most stable engagement with bone. This simulation is what allows the All-on-4 protocol to work: two implants placed vertically toward the front of the jaw, two placed at a calculated angle toward the back, positioned to capture the densest available bone and distribute biting force evenly across all four points — often without the need for bone grafting at all.

By the close of this day, your entire surgical blueprint exists in precise digital form, reviewed and explained to you in full, so you understand not just what will happen, but exactly why.

III. SURGICAL DAY — THE PLACEMENT OF YOUR NEW FOUNDATION

This is the day your permanent foundation is built.

Implant Placement. Four Medentika by Straumann Germany implants — premium, German-engineered, part of the globally respected Straumann Group — are surgically placed according to the exact digital plan established during your diagnostic session. This is precision surgery guided by data, not estimation performed in the moment.

Post-Placement Tomographic Verification. Immediately after placement, a follow-up 3D scan is taken to confirm that each implant sits exactly as planned — correct depth, correct angle, correct bone engagement. We do not consider surgery complete until this is verified radiographically. Visual confirmation alone is not our standard.

Post-Surgical Recovery Protocol. Once placement is confirmed, ice application begins immediately to manage swelling and support comfortable early healing. For patients without a companion present to assist, our clinical team personally administers and oversees this ice application, ensuring no patient is left without proper post-operative care simply because they traveled alone.

You are then provided with a complete medication protocol: prescribed antibiotics and pain management medication, accompanied by a detailed aftercare procedure sheet explaining exactly how and when to take each medication, what to expect during early healing, and what to avoid. This procedure sheet and prescription are provided to you both as a physical document and sent digitally, so you always have it on hand — whether you are at your hotel, back home, or anywhere in between.

You are then returned to your hotel by private vehicle to begin your recovery in comfort and privacy.

IV. THE HEALING PERIOD — 3 TO 6 MONTHS OF OSSEOINTEGRATION

Once you return home, your body undertakes the most critical biological process of the entire treatment: osseointegration — the gradual, living fusion of the titanium implant surface with your jawbone. This process cannot be accelerated. It typically spans three to six months, with the precise duration shaped by your individual bone density, healing response, and overall oral health.

Temporary Teeth During Healing. In most cases, a temporary fixed prosthesis is provided so you are never without functional teeth during this period — allowing you to eat, speak, and smile with confidence while integration takes place beneath the surface.

There are specific clinical circumstances, however, in which an immediate temporary prosthesis cannot safely be provided, including:

        •       Insufficient primary implant stability at the time of placement, where early loading with a temporary appliance would risk disrupting integration
        •       Bone quality findings during surgery that call for a more conservative, unloaded healing protocol
        •       Cases requiring simultaneous bone grafting or sinus lift procedures, where the graft site must remain completely free of mechanical load
        •       Soft tissue conditions at the surgical site requiring full healing before any prosthetic component is introduced

When this applies to your case, your surgeon will explain the specific clinical reasoning behind it and the interim solution recommended for you. Every decision in your treatment is made in service of one priority: the lifetime success of your implants — never a shortcut that compromises that outcome.

V. THE SECOND VISIT — RETURN TO ISTANBUL FOR YOUR PERMANENT SMILE

Once your surgeon has clinically and radiographically confirmed that your implants have fully integrated, you return to Istanbul for the final phase of treatment — a seven-night visit during which your permanent smile is completed and delivered.

You are welcomed back exactly as before: VIP Mercedes pickup at the airport, direct transfer to your hotel, and a settled first day before treatment resumes.

VI. SECOND VISIT, DAY 1 — UNCOVERING & HEALING ABUTMENT PLACEMENT

Your implants are uncovered and healing abutments are attached. These small components connect directly to your implants and gently guide the surrounding gum tissue into the precise contour required for your final prosthesis to emerge naturally — exactly as a real tooth would from the gum line.

VII. SECOND VISIT, DAY 2 — CONTROLLED TISSUE REST

This day is intentionally unscheduled for procedures. Your gum tissue requires uninterrupted time to settle and heal around the healing abutments before the next clinical stage. Skipping or rushing this step would compromise your final aesthetic outcome — so we build it in deliberately, every time.

VIII. SECOND VISIT, DAY 3 — PRECISION DIGITAL IMPRESSIONS

With your gum tissue properly healed, we capture precise impressions of your implants and surrounding structures. These impressions become the exact blueprint from which your final prosthesis is engineered. IX. SECOND VISIT, DAY 4 — TRY-IN, BITE VERIFICATION & SHADE SELECTION

This day is devoted entirely to precision. Two separate try-in fittings are conducted to verify and refine fit, bite alignment, and comfort before final fabrication begins — nothing proceeds to production until both you and your prosthetic specialist are fully satisfied.

This is also the day you personally select your tooth shade together with our specialist team — matched not only for brightness, but to harmonize authentically with your skin tone and facial features, so your new smile looks as though it has always been yours.

X. SECOND VISIT, DAY 5 — YOUR PERMANENT TEETH ARE DELIVERED

Your final, permanent prosthesis — crafted in-house using titanium-hybrid framework technology with Ivoclar Vivadent premium dental materials — is completed and fitted. This is the moment your new smile becomes reality.

Our clinical team remains available throughout the day for any fine adjustment. Treatment is considered complete only once you are fully comfortable and fully confident.

XII. SECOND VISIT, DAY 7 — DEPARTURE

On your final day, you check out of your hotel and our team personally sees you off, transferred once again in VIP comfort to the airport — ready to fly home with a permanent, fully functional new smile, and the documentation to prove every part of how it was built.
