After all the research I did on doctors in Mexicali, I was introduced to him by PlacidWay. I am so glad that I made a decision to book my TT, MR, LIPO 360 and BBL with him. While i didnt end up a patient of Dr. Samano, our zoom appointment was excellent. I found him to be very personable, professional and easy to converse with. He presented himself as extremely knowledgeable and caring, and was able to easily answer all my questions and concerns. After a lot of research , I know without a doubt that I chose the best plastic surgeon in Cancun ! In 2023 I decided to have a brow lift , upper blepharoplasty and revision rhinoplasty with Dr Arturo Valdez. To say that Dr Valdez is a brilliant surgical sculptor is an understatement. His expertise, attention to detail and ability to listen and understand exactly what I wanted was truly impressive. He is very professional , attentive and compassionate. My eyelids are no longer saggy, they look the same as they did when I was in my 30' s . My new nose is beautiful and very elegant looking ! And most importantly I am able to breathe properly now. Last year I decided to go back to Dr Valdez and get earlobe reduction surgery along with the removal of numerous cherry angiomas all over my body. Because of the dainty new earlobe shape my whole face has a more youthful appearance now. I have another plastic surgery planned in the next few months and am so excited about seeing Dr Valdez once again !

He was awesome! My recovery was harder than I thought it would be, so be sure to do your homework first, but the results are AMAZING! I had a tummy tuck and thigh lift and 360 lipo. Results are AMAZING; a small waist, rounded butt, flat tummy and thighs that don’t embarrass me any more. While in Mexico, Dr. Cartagena was so responsive to all of our questions within minutes, and we worried we were bothering him, but he didn’t care, his primary concern was me and that was great. Even though I am no longer in Mexico, Dr Cartagena reaches out to me at least twice a week to check on how I am doing. I will go back and see him in another month for a final check-up and look forward to what he has to say. Such a positive person and really cares about his patients.
