田医生曾任中国人民解放军海军总医院副院长。
田主任医师，海军总医院神经外科主任，从事立体定向外科的科研和临床应用工作30余年。
1997年，他成功完成首例机器人手术系统引导下的脑修复手术。此后，他已完成超过10000例脑修复手术，并参与国家级科研项目。近年来，
田主任成功将第六代脑外科手术机器人应用于临床治疗，该第六代脑外科手术机器人采用无框架定位系统，能够精确定位病灶。
进一步将脑修复手术与干细胞移植相结合，使临床治疗效果提高了30~50%。田博士的这一突破被美国《大众科学》杂志报道。
