Dr. Hui DU is an experienced orthopedic surgeon based in Beijing, China. Education and Training

Dr. DU completed his MD degree at Peking Union Medical College, where he graduated with top honors. He then went on to complete his residency in orthopedic surgery at Beijing Jishuitan Hospital, where he honed his surgical skills and expertise. Dr. Hui Du received advanced foot and ankle surgical training at multiple renowned centers in the United States. He trained under former and current presidents of the American Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Society (AOFAS), including Dr. Keith Wapner, Dr. Robert Anderson, and President-elect Dr. Thomas Lee. He also completed specialized training in computer-assisted Taylor Spatial Frame (TSF) techniques at the Rubin Institute for Advanced Orthopedics in Baltimore, USA.

Dr. DU is experienced in adult/juvenile lower limb deformity correction, utilizing a combination of internal fixation techniques (including plates and intramedullary nails) and advanced external fixation systems such as the comput-er-assisted Taylor Spatial Frame (TSF) and the Ilizarov apparatus. He treats a variety of deformities, including genu varum (bowlegs), genu valgum (knock-knees), ankle varus/valgus, malunited fractures, and leg length discrepan-cies. Dr. Hui Du also specializes in treating a wide range of adult foot and ankle conditions that cause pain, deformity, swelling, and stiffness. These include hallux valgus, hallux rigidus, metatarsalgia, flatfoot, cavus foot, clubfoot, Achilles tendinitis, heel pain syndrome, talar avascular necrosis, ankle arthritis, and various severe and complex foot and ankle deformities.
