Stage 1 - Fertilization and Embryo Culture

Eggs and sperm are combined in a lab dish. About 20 hours later, we check if fertilization was successful. If it was, the fertilized eggs (zygotes) will grow into embryos.

Stage 2 - Monitoring Follicular Development

During treatment, you'll have regular check-ups. This helps the medical team monitor your body's response. We may adjust your medication if needed. We'll also schedule the best time to retrieve your eggs.

Stage 3 - Egg Retrieval

This is a simple procedure. A specialized team will gently collect your eggs. You'll stay for a few hours so we can check on you. Then, you can go home.

Stage 4 - Preparing the Sperm Sample

We'll make sure the sperm sample is ready for fertilization. If donor sperm is needed, we'll use a frozen sample.
