After a lot of research , I know without a doubt that I chose the best plastic surgeon in Cancun ! In 2023 I decided to have a brow lift , upper blepharoplasty and revision rhinoplasty with Dr Arturo Valdez. To say that Dr Valdez is a brilliant surgical sculptor is an understatement. His expertise, attention to detail and ability to listen and understand exactly what I wanted was truly impressive. He is very professional , attentive and compassionate. My eyelids are no longer saggy, they look the same as they did when I was in my 30' s . My new nose is beautiful and very elegant looking ! And most importantly I am able to breathe properly now. Last year I decided to go back to Dr Valdez and get earlobe reduction surgery along with the removal of numerous cherry angiomas all over my body. Because of the dainty new earlobe shape my whole face has a more youthful appearance now. I had a 'mommy makeover' with Dr. Cartagena in Jan, 2026... I had consultations with several other doctors, Dr. Cartagena was by far, the most informative, reassuring, and knowledgeable. He explained the entire procedure in extensive details. Once I had my appointment confirmed, he was a text or phone call away ANY time that I needed him. Now that I'm at 3.5 weeks post op... he remains a phone call or text away.. he has calmed me countless times, whether it was pre-op, or post op,(due to my personal anxiety) with his calm, and confident demeanor. I’m extremely happy with my decision to get a lip lift with Dr. Jose Telich. I previously tried filler and loved the look, but wanted something more permanent to have a fuller look to my lips. I also had slight asymmetry (left side lower than right), which he corrected by removing 7mm on the left and 5mm on the right—my lips now look much more balanced and natural. What really stood out was his technique: he hid the sutures inside my nostrils using dissolvable stitches. I hadn’t seen other surgeons offer this, and it made a huge difference in minimizing visible scarring. The procedure was quick (about an hour) under local anesthesia, and the hospital experience was smooth, clean, and very professional. Recovery has been easier than expected. My scars are already barely noticeable and are just getting better with time. I flew there from across the world. Had my surgery on Saturday and flew out Sunday. Even with all the flying and altitude my lip lift was fine. Overall, I had an amazing experience and love my results so far. I would highly recommend Dr. Telich and would go back for future procedures.
