The Liver Transplant is a surgical procedure that aims to eliminate the ill liver and replace it with a healthy one, from a donor. In most of the cases, there are used organs coming from deceased donors, even if, a liver can also come from a living donor if we are talking about a partial Liver Transplant. The liver is able to regenerate and reach its initial size both in the donor and recipient cases.
