I will admit, at first I had some concerns about going to another country for dental work, such as: Will they be there with transportation like they said they would be? Was the office really as nice as the pictures show, or was I walking into a dump and going to be sitting there for hours before they even get started? My first conversation with the clinic was with a young man named Andre. He spoke English fluently, which was a huge relief — that was one of my major concerns when booking the trip. The fact is that everyone at the clinic spoke English very well. So, Andre was a very nice and polite young man with whom I did all of the communicating and scheduling, except for one call when I talked to someone else and had to inform them that I had to cut my stay there from one week down to three days. Even after that, he emailed me to inform me that it would not be enough time to have my crowns made, which I was already aware of — but it was reassuring to know that there was good communication within their office. So, I flew in on Sunday, and on Monday morning, Andre called me up an hour before my appointment and said he would pick me up and take me to the clinic, which he did. Got there at 10:30 in the morning and was amazed at how modern and up-to-date everything was. There was nobody but myself there, and there was no waiting at all. I was introduced to Dr. Miller and his staff — all very friendly and pleasant to talk to. I proceeded to have my tooth extracted and bone buildup done, and also had a screw inserted for an abutment on a different tooth that was already out. After, Andre drove me to the pharmacy and went in with me to get my prescriptions, then dropped me off at the motel. In all, it was a very pleasant trip. I felt right at home and very comfortable. Dr. Miller did a wonderful job — so far (still need to go back one more time for crowns). So, if you're at all nervous about going to Mexico for dental work, relax — give this place a call. I highly recommend them and am sure you will be as pleased as I am. And as for the cost — well, I was able to pay for the airfare to Mexico not once, but twice, spend a few days there, have my dental work done, and still end up saving around three thousand dollars.

I am from USA and have lived in Cancun since 1981. I always went back to TX to get dental work because I didn’t know a dentist here. Some friends recommended Dr. Joaquin Berron and I began going to him in 1993. The cleanliness in his spacious office and the ultimate new techniques and equipment surpass what I have seen in USA. Dr. Berron speaks perfect English and spends plenty of time examining thoroughly, and then carefully explaining treatment options. Dr. Berron also taught cosmetic dentistry and Implants at LSU in New Orleans to dental students. So when I decided to put veneers on in 2002, I knew he was very capable. I just returned for my bi-annual visit August 2016 and the veneers are in excellent shape as good as the day he put them in. There have been friends visiting on me in Cancun from KY and TX who had dental emergencies here. They both went to Dr. Berron and were delighted with the treatment. When they returned home, their own dentists checked them out and said the work was perfect. Amazing clinic! Everything was perfect! The team is adorable and so sweet with you, they make you feel very comfortable, even if are terribly afraid by the dentist like me. The clinic is very chic and cozy and the view on the beach, when they do your exams, is incredible! Their 3D machine is awesome and they have all the technology and knowledge to make you amazing teeth!

My experience with Ocean Dental was wonderful. I communicated with Carlos via e-mail months before the actual appointment. Carlos always answered in a timely and professional manner with informative answers. My family and I stayed in Playacar and Ocean Dental provided professional transportation to/from our resort. My three children had Zoom teeth whitening and we were very pleased. After the procedures we wanted to have lunch at a local restaurant across the street. Our lunch took longer than anticipated and Ocean Dental was great about arranging our transportation a little later so we could finish lunch. The staff, including the front desk representative, dental technician, Dentist and Martin (financial manager) were very wonderful. Both my husband and I are returning to Ocean Dental later this year for extensive dental work. I highly recommend Ocean Dental for any dental services.
