After a lot of research , I know without a doubt that I chose the best plastic surgeon in Cancun ! In 2023 I decided to have a brow lift , upper blepharoplasty and revision rhinoplasty with Dr Arturo Valdez. To say that Dr Valdez is a brilliant surgical sculptor is an understatement. His expertise, attention to detail and ability to listen and understand exactly what I wanted was truly impressive. He is very professional , attentive and compassionate. My eyelids are no longer saggy, they look the same as they did when I was in my 30' s . My new nose is beautiful and very elegant looking ! And most importantly I am able to breathe properly now. Last year I decided to go back to Dr Valdez and get earlobe reduction surgery along with the removal of numerous cherry angiomas all over my body. Because of the dainty new earlobe shape my whole face has a more youthful appearance now. I have another plastic surgery planned in the next few months and am so excited about seeing Dr Valdez once again !

Great experience with Estetik International clinic for my hair transplant, since the start of communication till arrival to airport, hotel then clinic, everything went very smooth. I found my experience with Estetik International very frustrating, and if you would like to do something with them, I would like to warn you about what exactly you can expect from them. I went there to do septoplasty and breast augmentation; they were on the higher price side and looked very nice in the beginning. However: 1. They lied to me multiple times: - I was promised that I would meet my doctor one day before surgery and we would have a chat. “The doctor was busy,” so I met him 30 minutes before surgery the next day. They gave me only two options for breast implants to see, and the doctor decided on the size himself. I also wanted to do neck lipo, but they gave me a chin implant instead (I didn’t have fat there, but since the doctor only saw me on the day, he made the call). If it had been up to me, I would not have gone for the chin implant! - I was told that they work 24/7 and I would have all the required support. On day 5, complications started. As I learned later, I had an infection after surgery that caused internal bleeding. I tried to call my point of contact. When she finally answered, she said, “I will call the clinic and they will send a nurse.” Half an hour later, nothing happened. When we called again, she turned off her phone. The clinic was closed, and no, they don’t work 24/7. So I spent the night in the ER, almost died, and of course, they didn’t take responsibility for what happened. 2. They gave me the wrong-sized bra. I had bleeding scratches on my back after wearing it for 7 days. They gave me the proper one in Ireland, and it also reduced the amount of pain I felt. 3. When I came to have my stitches removed, the doctor didn’t put gloves on! I realized it when I smelled strong tobacco. 4. They didn’t even bother to take a next-of-kin contact! Although I left my husband’s phone number with my point of contact, when I got out of surgery, I texted him myself that he could come and see me. 5. I constantly felt under-informed. I think if I hadn’t asked questions, I wouldn’t have received any instructions. 6. My main language is English, but I have an Eastern European name. The staff was ignorant of that and just talked to me in Russian by default. 7. In the quotation I received, it said they would book a 5-star hotel. Not only was it 4-star, but the room we were booked in was tiny. The food in the hotel: one dish we ordered was undercooked, and my salad had rotten iceberg leaves. Cleanliness level: they never washed or vacuumed the floor in our room. The bed sheets had holes in them, and clean towels came with someone else’s hair still stuck on them. One time, a new “clean” bed sheet came with blood stains, and we called room service to replace it again. The gym didn’t have air conditioning, and the treadmill was broken. They sent me a form to contact the Patient Rights Department. Guess what—the form doesn’t work, and the “English” version is not fully translated either.

I was briefly contacted by Dr. Chatchawarn Chinpaisarn (Dr. Thor), who isn’t even listed on their main website pages — raising red flags about who actually performs the surgeries. The main building and consultation rooms felt like a staged setup, while the actual coordination came from scattered sales reps like P’Jeab Ka, who completely disappeared after I refused to pay more. Right before surgery, I was suddenly told I owed extra payments, which I declined. From that moment, the energy shifted and the experience became stressful and unprofessional. The surgery itself was rough — they struggled to put me under, and kept injecting anesthesia into my back as the gas mask kept failing. It didn’t feel safe or controlled at all. Post-op, I was ignored, likely because I didn’t give in to their pressure for hidden costs. My surgeon never followed up, and P’Jeab Ka was gone. I was charged for everything, including a short hospital stay that cost over $500 per night, with more charges if you touch or use anything in the room. If you’re bringing $3,000, be prepared to bring another $3,000 — they’ll find reasons for extra payments no matter what they originally told you. Only giving two stars — one for a kind nurse who treated me decently, and one for the polite attitude at the start. But the results are poor, the process felt like a hustle, and the overall experience was disappointing and stressful. Beware of this clinic and ask very specific questions upfront.

The entire experience has been incredible.The clinic expert team handled my case with care, dignity, and integrity, and made sure my experience was smooth sailing. The hospital is very clean and modern, and my hair transplant went exceptionally. The care was the best that I’ve ever experienced. All the blood tests and the ECG before the surgery was something I’ve never known before with elective surgery in the past. So sensible! Also the insurance, just in case. Dr Uribe is a treasure! It’s a shame that he doesn’t do hand surgery because I will be back to have my arthritic thumb joints fixed and anything else that falls apart as I age. Even with the highest level of insurance in Australia I was still quoted $4,000 a hand out of pocket 10 years ago.

After all the research I did on doctors in Mexicali, I was introduced to him by PlacidWay. I am so glad that I made a decision to book my TT, MR, LIPO 360 and BBL with him. He’s extremely professional and skilled. He explained the full procedure and recovery to me and made all my doubts go away. I am posting this review three days after my surgery. So far I’m be try happy with everything. I will post another review in 3 months to talk about my results as I cannot say anything about that right now however his staff and he himself are amazing. I came here alone and they really looked after me. They all speak English really well and they will be at your service 24/7. While i didnt end up a patient of Dr. Samano, our zoom appointment was excellent. I found him to be very personable, professional and easy to converse with. He presented himself as extremely knowledgeable and caring, and was able to easily answer all my questions and concerns. Given my interaction with him and his background, I feel very comfortable in recommending Dr. Samano for capsulectomy.

This doctor disfigured, gaslit and ghosted me. Dr Acosta gave me a BBL which involved liposuction. It gave me permanent lumps on my mid area He neither warned me of this risk, nor was it stated in the document I signed. When I left his office he told me to get lymphatic massages for the fibroids. I followed his instructions exactly, but it was ineffective. When I later contacted him about this, he told me that they weren’t fibroids and created a false narrative that this occurred because I didn’t follow his advice which was a blatant lie We had agreed in advance that I was to have 3 treatments with him: the second a BBL and the third a tummy tuck. He never advised me not to get a BBL or lipo (required for BBL). When I asked him to clarify,he told me that he’d stated that the proper treatment for this was a tummy tuck, which made no sense whatsoever. He refused to clarify what “this” even was. A tummy tuck in no way enhances the buttocks. I then sent him screenshots of every conversation we’d ever had, illustrating that at no time had he advised against the BBL. Since we were still slated to get the 3rd procedure (the tuck) I asked what he would do to treat these lumps during that time. No matter how many times I asked (even begged) I asked for specificity, he gave me cryptic, non-specific answers. He named procedures but refused to explain what they meant or what the risks were. When I initially approached him about this, it wasn’t to blame him. I just wanted a reasonable solution, yet he was defensive, manipulative, and vague from the very beginning and refused to provide me with any. These horrible lumps only appeared after the lipo. There is no other possible cause. He said it was loose skin which was expected. To be clear, IT IS NOT LOOSE SKIN. When I pull the skin back the hard lumps are still there, clear as day. The more I attempted to reach a coherent resolution, the more contentious and defensive he became; constantly deflecting, avoiding, and using cryptic rhetoric. He constantly gas-lit me and even questioned my mental health. It soon became apparent that he didn’t actually have a solution, or didn’t want to do what was necessary to resolve the problem, which is why he desperately tried to project the blame onto me. The last we spoke, he still agreed to see me for the third procedure which was part of our initial agreement, even though a resolution still had not been established. It was so stressful and still causes me extreme anxiety to this day. Then he just disappeared. For 6 months now I have tried politely and diplomatically to reach out to him, repeatedly explaining that I didn’t want to have to do this review but would do so if he didn’t respond. I was far more patient than I should have been. Clearly, he didn’t think I’d follow through Pictures don’t lie and there appears to be a pattern here, despite his high rating. I did a little digging and read a review by someone who stated that he had agreed to do a procedure on her, but when she asked him to be clear about the risks, he backed out of the arrangement. He obviously doesn’t have much respect for the hippocratic oath. The first procedure I got with him was a facelift, which went well and he seemed like a very nice person. Little did I know that if something were to go sideways, his MO would be to blame the victim and offer no empathy or clear solution. It should also be noted that he neglected to mention until after the 3rd day, that I should not sit on my butt. The first 6 weeks are the most important but the first 3 days in particular. As a result, I lost at least 50% of the fat he injected (he said I’d lose no more than 20 or 25%). I later got sick and lost the rest but that part wasn’t his fault. So in the end, there’s no butt enhancement, $10,000 lost, 6 weeks of extreme discomfort, and permanent disfigurement. I am beyond devastated. He will retort to this with lies and probably some out of context screenshots. Please don’t fall for it.
