Great hospital, good cordination. I came from England to have an operation here and they had a great guy doing the hospitals English translation. He accompanied me to every analysis and my operation. As a US.-based Pulmonary/Critical Care physician, I am sharing my family’s experience to provide clinical context for others. My sister recently passed away at this facility, following acute complications from Extracorporeal Blood Oxygenation and Ozonation (EBOO). In my professional observation, the facility appeared significantly under-equipped and under-staffed to manage the complex complications associated with this procedure. When our family sought answers, the lead physician was unavailable, and the staff present seemed unable to provide a clear protocol for managing the acute issues that arose. Based on this experience in the lack of standard safety measures I observed, I cannot recommend the center for high risk or experimental treatments. Please exercise caution.

Very slow to respond

I attended here for Hair Transplants. My liaison contact was Burak Yildirim, international manager for the hospital. He was outstanding and so professional. Everything was arranged perfectly and communication was quick and comprehensive. On day of procedure, I was impressed with the hospital and all staff. I would have no hesitation to recommend Academic Hospital.

I have read through some of the other reviews here and I feel as though the people who write somewhat negative reviews are being very ungrateful. Thee fact is, they are looking at the outer shell and not looking to the contents within. Best Hospital I have ever visited, bar none. The staff treats you like family. I have never experienced such kindness, honesty, and openness from the cleaning ladies, through the Nursing Staff, to the Doctors. I stayed for a week and a half on the third floor. If it were possible, I would give the third floor staff seven stars... five isn"t enough. Here you can get an appointment immediately. The doctor does his tests and openly discusses with you your options. The operation went as smooth as can be expected. Prices are more than fair.

Honestly, I compared Emse who was very biased at first, but on the recommendation of a friend I took my husband there for treatment. There is a huge difference between Emse and Emse from reality, especially our doctor Emre Günbey. Thank you for your great interest.
